Looks really cool! I love the way you lined up the numbers, like the 7 tucked into the 1 with the 6 in the little round part.
I am not crazy about the textured background. To me it's a little distracting. I picture it with a solid background, and I think it might look better. Or maybe if the numbers had some distressing too to mimic the bg?
If this is 2012, check your february, it should start on a wednesday and have 29 days.
Jon has already expressed my own sentiments. I think color and scale are key in your calendar. It's focus needs to be on the way you use the typefaces and what composition they demonstrate on your page. Hard to tell with the one example you give on your blog. I'm not worried though.
